Other vegetables like cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, or black olives can be added for extra color and flavor. Fresh dill can be used in place of dried dill for a brighter, more aromatic flavor. Use about 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh dill. If the salad seems dry after chilling, add a splash of olive oil or a little more salad dressing to moisten it.
