Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and minced ginger until the sugar is mostly dissolved. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Place the salmon fillet in the prepared baking dish. Pour the teriyaki sauce evenly over the salmon, ensuring it's nicely coated. (1 minute)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. (12-15 minutes)

05

Step

While the salmon is baking, prepare your bowl: place the cooked rice in the bottom of a bowl. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Once the salmon is cooked, gently place it on top of the rice. Spoon any remaining teriyaki sauce from the baking dish over the salmon and rice. (1 minute)

07

Step

Arrange the shredded red cabbage, grated carrots, and sliced radishes around the salmon. (2 minutes)

08

Step

Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy! (1 minute)

For a richer flavor, try adding a teaspoon of sesame oil to the teriyaki sauce.
Feel free to substitute your favorite vegetables in the bowl. Edamame, cucumber, or avocado would be delicious additions.
If you prefer a crispier salmon skin, broil the salmon for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
Sushi rice is recommended for the best texture and flavor.
